Registration
If you haven’t registered, visit Team Unify Registration to sign up your swimmer(s). You will register as a New Member and select “+Create New Account”. The required online JRAC waiver for each swimmer can be filled out here, We will be running our meet entries through Team Unify so it’s important to register as soon as possible so that Coach Mike can begin planning for our first meet on Sunday June 12th (more info will follow on this!).
Practice & Attendance
As we head into week 2, please note that there will be no practice Friday May 27th so that swimmers and our adult pool members can enjoy the whole pool for the SRA Slide into Summer event from 4-8pm. There is also no practice on Memorial Day (5/30). Practices are Mon-Fri afternoons until we add Saturday mornings on June 4th. We will add morning practices on Tues June 14th, and our afternoon practice schedule will change on June 21st. If you miss a practice here and there, you do not need to notify us or the coaches. However, if you will miss extended periods due to summer camps or family vacations, we simply recommend letting our coaches know.
Swim Gear
MONDAY, MAY 23 – Disco Sports will be offering another team suit fitting day at their store (1400 Starling Dr) 10am-6pm. They will be happy to help you find the best fit for your Swordfish in our team suit. They will also have other swim/sports gear you might need to stock up on for summer. Disco is donating % of the sales from this event right back to SRA, so don’t miss this chance to get your gear and support our team!
Parking Raffle!
This summer, one lucky Swordfish will have an opportunity to win a front-row parking spot at ALL SIX SWIM MEETS! You can purchase these in the SRA office or from Cathy Durrette or Jenn Walker on deck during practice. Tickets are $10 each and there is no limit to the number you can purchase. Drawing will be held at the Mini Meet on June 11th and money raised from this raffle will go towards replacing the wooden benches near the blocks at the upper pool (aka our practice and competition pool)
Covid Protocol
We have had questions about Swim Team Covid Policies. In instances where swimmers or family members test positive, we ask you follow CDC guidelines in regards to quarantining and masking, and if you or your swimmer (s) are sick, stay away from the pool until it is safe for you to return.
Don’t miss a thing!
