Sam Kettlewell-Sites is returning for his third summer as an SRA coach. A graduate of Trinity Episcopal School, he was a fourteen-year Swordfish as well as a four-year varsity swimmer for Trinity and a year-round swimmer with Richmond Racers and then Poseidon. A rising junior at James Madison University, Sam is majoring in Integrated Science and Technology and continues to compete with JMU’s club swim team, where his favorite event is still the 50 free. Wherever he swims, however, in his heart Sam is forever a Swordfish, and one of his favorite days of the year is always the first day of SRA practice when summer friends reunite for another great season.

Sydney Lenz

Assistant Swim Coach

Sydney is returning for her second summer at Southampton after finishing up her freshman year at Denison University in Ohio. She is majoring in Health and Exercise Studies with a minor in Biology. She is a member of the varsity swim team at Denison and is excited to have the opportunity to swim for the Swordfish one more time. Summer League swimming is her favorite time of year, and she can’t wait to spend it with the Swordfish again!

Olivia Ratliff

Assistant Swim Coach

Olivia Ratliff is thrilled to return to the coaching staff at Southampton for her second year! She swam at Southampton for 14 summers and at NOVA of Virginia Aquatics for 7 years. She also swam varsity at Maggie Walker all four years of high school and served as girls team co-captain for her senior season. She attributes her love for the water to her many summers spent playing sharks and minnows and cheering on her fellow Swordfish. She can’t wait to spend the summer with her Swordfish family!
