Emily is thrilled to be returning for her second summer to coach the Southampton Swordfish! After her 12 year swimming career at SRA it warms her heart to still be a part of this amazing team. She’ll be a junior at James Madison University this upcoming Fall and recently changed her major to Elementary Education. SRA definitely influenced this change in her major a ton! After working with kids all summer, she’s realized that it’s something she wants to do for the rest of her life. Emily is beyond excited for another fun filled swim season with her favorite family!!

Sam Kettlewell-Sites

He is now a freshman at JMU, where he is a member of the club swim team. Southampton has been Sam’s second home since he was a five-year-old mini-might; he loved his first season as a coach for the Swordfish last summer. He is excited about seeing everyone back at the pool for another summer of fun and fast swimming.

He is studying Mechanical Engineering, and is involved in a fraternity and club water polo. After graduating from the SRA swim team last summer, he says that he is excited to be back with the team and where his roots are. Alec enjoys spending time working as an EMT at Tuckahoe Volunteer Rescue Squad, as well as mountain biking and running.

She swam varsity at Maggie Walker all four years of high school and served as girls team co-captain for her senior season.
