Swim Team Registration 

You may register your child for swim team by mail, in the SRA office (see office hours, p. 15 of newsletter), or during practice. If you have questions about registration, Jenny Hatch is often available during afternoon practice. All swimmers must be registered by June 4 in order to participate in the first meet on June 13.
    Fees for 5-16 year olds are $85 per swimmer; register by June 4 to take advantage of a $5 discount (you’ll pay $80 per swimmer). Families with three or more swimmers pay full price for the first two and $50 per swimmer for the third and fourth swimmers. For our 17 and 18 year olds, we have a special “senior” fee of only $17.        (Registration continued on next column.)
    In addition to completing the registration form, parents must complete and sign a medical release and waiver form and a meet attendance sheet. These forms are found with our registration form, pgs. 17-18 of the newsletter.

Team Suits
Our swim suit is the same suit from last year. The suit is a Speedo suit called Quantum Splice; it is navy and gold. Suits are available at the Disco Sports store on Starling Drive, and a Disco rep will be at SRA on Wednesday, May 26, 4–6 p.m. with suits available for purchase.

Swim Team E-mail Group

When you sign your child up for the swim team, we will automatically sign you up for the SRA-Swim email group. We handle most swim team communication with email and the web site. We are switching to Google Groups in the near future so you may get emails from Yahoo and Google for a short period of time. If you are not getting the emails for some reason and want to get them, please email Philip Hunnicutt at

philipteach@gmail.com and he can add you. Philip can also remove you from the list as well.
